Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL
I
It has not been long since Google's Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 have been in the market. They were revealed in the month of October, 2018. Now, there are rumours about their successors called the Pixel 4 XL and the Pixel 4. These rumours are already all over the place. At the same time, Google also seems like it is picking up some action.
In this article, we talk about all the speculations and leaks that we know about yet, regarding Pixel 4.
As far as the released date of Google Pixel goes, we have not been able to figure that out yet. This is primarily because Google Pixel devices have not been around for a long time in comparison to the iPhones by Apple and Galaxy S phones by Samsung. However, we can still see a small pattern.
In the last few years, new Pixel devices by Google were unveiled in the month of October during the Made event by Google. This is when the Pixel 2 XL and the Pixel 2 were also announced, back in 2017, in the month of October. At the same time, the Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 were announced on 4th October 2018, in the coming year.
Hence, we can expect that Google will stick to the same old pattern yet once again and announce the Pixel 4 XL and Pixel 4 in the month of October, this year.
As far as the prices of these devices go, speculators say that they will start somewhere around £739. According to a number of leaked images, we can see that the phone will feature a camera array arranged in a square, on the top left corner. The front part of the devices will feature a forehead, instead of a notch. The forehead will feature dual cameras and speakers along with some sensors.
According to these speculations, the top bar on the phone may also contain other sensors. This is because these leaked images do not feature a headphone socket and fingerprint sensor. However, we can see a power button in white colour that contrasts very well with the phone.
Moreover, it is expected that the phone will have a display size between 5.6 inches and 5.8 inches. Moreover, the measurements of the phone will be around 147 x 68.9 x 8.2 or 9.3 (including the camera bump) in mm.
On the other hand, the Pixel 4 CL will have a display size between 6.2 inches and 6.4 inches. Moreover, it might roughly measure 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2 or 9.3 (including the camera bump) in mm.
In the start of this year, a patent was filed by Google which shows a design feature all-screen along with a two-tone rear. This design is quite similar to the Pixel devices released earlier. Hence, chances are that it could signal the coming of the Pixel successor.
As of yet, all of this information is purely based on speculations. However, as it further develops, we will be able to confirm what the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL have to offer.
