Huawei Mate Pro
Huawei has emerged to be one of the world’s most popular brands, eclipsing even Apple and Samsung. They’re known for phones that are packed with features, powerful cameras, and sleek designs. And the fact that they’re often priced lower means that you get more bang for your buck.
That’s why everyone’s been waiting for the launch of the Huawei Mate Pro. Here’s what we know, and though more details and user reviews will come after it’s officially released into stores, we can already say that we love what we see.
Huawei Mate ProDesign
Look out, Apple. Huawei’s weakness has always been that it doesn’t look as sleek as its competitors. But the Huawei Mate Pro looks great. The glass material, the etched pattern, the metal rim and the curved edges match the sophistication of the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. It also comes in a wide range of colors, from the deep forest green and a quirky twilight, so you can pick the one that matches your preferences and personality. (And we really like how the power button comes in a contrasting color. Very stylish!)
Huawei Mate Pro Features
For the specs: the phone uses the Kirin 980 chipset which provides much more powerful processing and graphic capabilities without draining your battery. The dual neural engines are impressive. The company says that it actually optimizes AI processes by 134%, and also leads to 20% increase in speed, 45% improvement of graphics, and 40% improvement of overall phone efficiency.
The phone allows for wireless charging, water-resistant, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has a 24 megapixel camera with 3-dimensional depth perception that can recognize your face. So if your fingerprint can’t open the phone, you can bank on the facial unlocking feature.
You get 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Huawei Mate Pro Camera he
Huawei cameras have always impressed us, and this phone did not disappoint. The Huawei Mate Pro makes every picture you take look like it was done by a professional in perfect light conditions. You get a 40-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel telephoto camera and 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera.
As with its previous phones the camera can respond to different photo taking conditions. Use the Night Mode when you have low light, a Macro Mode for extreme close ups, and many more. The camera is also able to track the most active subjects thanks to its powerful predictive focus. So if you’re taking a picture of your dog running across the field, the Huawei Mate Pro will stay focused on him and give you a clear shot.
The Huawei Mate Pro Design seems slated to be one of the best phone launches this year, and definitely worth considering against Samsung’s and Apple’s top-of-the-line units.
